We will not have school on Thursday, October 23rd to allow our staff and students to travel and support the football team in the first round of the Nebraska state playoffs. Go Cougars!
FAN BUS for Thursday ~ We will be offering a fan bus for the playoff football game on Thursday, October 23rd. The bus will leave the school at 12:30 p.m. All elementary students must be accompanied by an adult, secondary students can sign up on their own. Fans are responsible for paying their way into the game and should bring money if they want to purchase any snacks at the game or while traveling. Call the office to sign up: 402-687-2363.

On the October 16th, 7 LDNE Art students traveled to Doane University to participate in High School Art Day which was hosted by the Doane Art & Design school. Students participated in 3 hands on art activities, as well as did a gallery talk with working artist, Raymond Central HS Art teacher, and Doane alumni, Taylor Craig. Ms. Craig's artwork is currently on display in the art gallery at Doane. It was a great opportunity for the students to experience a college campus, see what it looks like to take college art courses, and meet other art students from Nebraska.
