Come enjoy family fun as a community.

Lyons-Decatur elementary students had an exciting time at the wildlife encounters assembly! They loved meeting Mocha, the honey bear (Kinkajou), Popcorn, the armadillo, Snickers, the boa constrictor, Ella, the cockatoo, Kevin, the alligator, and Sydney the kangaroo while learning fun facts about each amazing animal.

Come out to see the 7-12 Band and Choir Fall Program! We have a fun night of music planned and these students are excited to share it with you!

Because Tim Burton doesn't only have to be during Spooky Season, right?! 8th graders worked on these Tim Burton inspired self portraits last week in Art class. The students always have a fun time with this project and making themself look similar to movies they have seen. The process they used is the 2nd picture. Enjoy!

Congratulations Colten Miller for receiving his American FFA Degree, the highest degree a member can earn. We are proud of you!

LDNE has the best paraprofessionals. We are so thankful for them. Happy Halloween!

FFA members are engaging in the National FFA Convention learning Empowerment and developing personal skills and setting the stage for career success.

October Cougar Culture had us creating, collaborating, and competing to see who could build the tallest free-standing structure using just paper, straws, and tape! We were building and bonding — and as always, we loved every moment spent together!

The preschoolers had a wonderful time trick-or-treating through the school! They loved showing off their costumes, visiting classrooms, and collecting treats from the students and staff.

October is National Principals Month and we have 2 of the best. Thank you Mrs. Totten and Mr. Swanson for everything you do for our LDNE family!

Reminder that today - Wednesday, October 29th- is an early dismissal with NO PAWS.
