What a great night at the 2026 FFA Banquet. Thank you to everyone who attended and took part in the evening. Among the honors earned were the Outstanding Members Avery Bacon and Linden Anderson, Dekalb Award to Aubrey Lauritsen as well as Star Greenhand and Chapter Stars in Placement, Production and Agriscience. The evening concluded with the installation of the 2026-27 Chapter Officer Team.
A huge thank you to Terry Wallerstedt and the Benson Country School Committee for hosting our 4th graders today! We had such fun making corn husk dolls and experiencing a one-room schoolhouse (plus a few minutes on the jumping pillow). Thank you!

This morning first year preschoolers celebrated with our Student Teaching Assistants! We celebrated our seniors and wished them well as they get ready for graduation and beyond! We worked on a project together, read stories and shared a special snack! Thanks to all of you who have given so much to our preschool classroom this year! A special thanks to preschool parents who also helped fill gift bags!

Due to the weather forecast for April 27, the Elementary Field Day has been rescheduled to the designated rain date. The event will now take place on Monday, May 4, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Congratulations to the 8 LDNE Finalist competing at State Science Fair! Cassidy, Kaylin, & Caroline won "Top of Fair" in their Divisions. Many more awards were won and are on the school Facebook Page. Caroline & Kaylin will be honored in Chicago in February 2027 as AJAS Fellows!
