Important update regarding the junior high football camp scheduled for next week. To ensure the safety of the boys due to expected high temperatures, the camp will now take place in the morning. Boys who wish to attend should meet Coach Burton at the Ag building at 8:30 AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The camp will run from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in Oakland.

It's fair time!!! Don't forget to stop and take a look at all the amazing elementary artwork from our talented students from LDNE, Oakland-Craig, and Tekamah-Herman at the Burt County Fair.

Congrats to JaeLeigh Miller who is the new national champion in Freestyle after wrestling at the Rumble Event in Ohio. She also had a fantastic 3rd place finish in folkstyle. She is now a 3x NUWAY All-American with an impressive 9-2 record overall. #cougarnation

All high-school football players that are going to Wayne state football camp please register online, camp starts the 20th and we only have 6 registered.

Attention Band Students: The Lyons 4th of July parade is this Friday at 5pm! Please meet north of the school at 4:15pm with instruments and music! Any who left theirs in the school will be able to obtain those upon arrival! Wear red, white, and blue! Just as last time any new alumni or older siblings are MORE than welcome to join us! River front was hot so remember your sunscreen and bring water! A huge thank you to everyone who showed for River Front Days! Though we were tiny, we were mighty! What a fun time to get to hear you all make music again and excited for what's to come! Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Girls Basketball won the Mead Summer Basketball Tournament! A great day of basketball to finish off the summer 🏀

Alizabeth went 2-2 today, 9-2 over all 9 wins were pins.   She is a 2025 Scholastic Duals Progressive Division  Bronze All- American #cougarnation

Alizabeth finished today 3-0 and now 7-0 all together at National Disney Duals. She will wrestle tomorrow in the gold bracket with her team! #cougarnation

Elizebeth Whitley is competing for the NSWCA team Nebraska girls wrestling at the Disney duals in Orlando, Fl. She finished today 4-0 and will wrestle one more day! #cougarnation
