Congratulations to Tavyanna Parker and Avery Bacon who received Class D-1 Honorable Mention All-State honors in the Omaha World Hearld.

The next few weeks leading up to graduation, we will be "spotlighting" one or two seniors a day. We hope you enjoy their words of advice, after graduation plans, or just admire their beautiful senior pictures. We begin our 2025 Senior Spotlight with Mr. Landon Mical Cooper...

Congratulations to Kaylee Tomka and Kellyn Knaak on their 3rd place finish in broadcast journalism, qualifying them for nationals.

Last Friday, 9 High School Art students took part in "The Big Art Show" in Wakefield. 16 schools from Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota took part in the show (originally 22 before it was rescheduled due to weather). In addition to having their artwork displayed and judged, students had to work together to create a board game as part of the day's activities. Catalina Estrada Lujan received the Outstanding School Artist Award for LDNE, which was voted on by all the students that attended the show. This was the first time LDNE was able to attend this show and we look forward to going again in the future.

We have had two Hs track records broken this year! Congrats to Garret Vavra on the shot put record with a throw of 54'11 3/4" and Karsen Olsen for being the first girl in school history to pole vault with a vault of 6'6" #cougarnation

1st year preschoolers had an "EGG-CELLENT" family day! We had an egg hunt outside and decorated the sidewalk with chalk, and inside we played games, made patterns, got tattoos and had snack! We are so thankful for all our families for making family days so much fun this year!

Congratulations to our Multi-Activities students at LDNE!!!

Congratulations to Mrs. Okereke on receiving the Outstanding Teacher Award, presented by the University of Nebraska’s Touchdown for Teachers program! This prestigious honor is awarded to only five educators across the entire state, and we couldn’t be more proud. Your dedication and impact continue to inspire us all!
