The 7th grade enjoyed some team work during the SEL lesson today.

HS Football is in action today at home vs Bancroft-Rosalie 7pm kick off Youth football recognition night for grades 3-6 at halftime. Live stream: https://fan.hudl.com/usa/ne/lyons/organization/2442/ldne-high-school

K-6 elementary students during Art class, each designed a painted rock to look like the fish illustrations from the book Only One You by Linda Kranz. They are currently on display by the Activities entrance. Examples of the illustrations are the last few pictures.

If you do come to view the rock display, please only look and leave it be, in order to keep it nice. Students will be receiving their rocks back later in the year.

Cougar activities today! Hs cross country at EHC meet in Tekamah at 5pm HS volleyball at home vs East Butler 5:30 c team, with JV and varsity to follow. We will recognize our youth volleyball players between the JV and varsity game tonight.

Thank you to the Lyons Volunteer Fire Department for hosting our elementary students today for fire prevention week. Our students had a wonderful time learning about fire safety, exploring the equipment, and meeting the firefighters who keep our community safe. We truly appreciate the time, effort, and dedication you put into educating our students and serving our town.
