These little cougars have officially been in school for 10 days! How exciting that they will have their whole school experience in a brand new building! We've been busy learning how to use all of our classroom centers, meeting new friends and teachers and having fun!

HS Fall sports Memory Mates order forms and money are due back to Mrs. Barber by Friday. Volleyball and Football students ordering Memory Mates will have their photos taken after school on Friday.
LDNE 5th graders Dustin Hart and Zachary Redding demonstrate good cougar character at school. They follow the rules, including walking quietly in the hallways, raising their hand, waiting patiently for their turn and speaking respectfully to adults. Their actions contribute to a positive school culture.
Hartley Petersen is a 3rd grade student at Lyons-Decatur with outstanding cougar character. Hartley goes out of her way to help both staff and fellow students. Her kindness and responsibility is appreciated by all!

Adley Mastin is a new 1st grade student at Lyons-Decatur and is a shining example of great cougar character. Adley is always respectful and responsible. She demonstrates kindness in all situations and sets a positive example for others.

Friday will be our Fall Sports "Gatorade/Sports Drink" scrimmages. The teams are asking for donations of sports drinks as admission to the event. Volleyball will begin at 5:30 in the gym. At 6:30, Cross Country will start at the football field followed by football at 7:00.
