UPDATED EHC BASKETBALL BRACKETS>>> Both the girls and boys will continue the EHC Basketball tournament on Tuesday in a consolation game. The will travel play Twin River in North Bend at 6:00. The girls will play Madison in Madison starting at 7:30,

CANCELLATION >>> Due to the weather and road conditions, today’s JH GBB tournament in Wisner has been canceled. If make up date is found and we are able to attend, we’ll let the girls know.
SPEECH MEET UPDATE! The speech meet in Bancroft has been canceled for today. They are going to try to reschedule. The speech team will attend the speech meet in Homer next Saturday. This is a change in our schedule.

EHC Boys Wrestling UPDATE>>>> Due to the prediction of impending weather, the EHC Boys wrestling tournament in Howells has been pushed back 2 hours. Here is the updated schedule!
Speech Team update!!!! The speech meet at Bancroft-Rosalie has been pushed back 2 hours on Saturday, Jan. 28. The bus will leave Lyons at 9 am. The meet will be 2 rounds with no finals.
JH Girls Basketball UPDATE!!!! They have pushed back the start time of the JH Girls BB tournament in Wisner tomorrow by 2 hours. LDNE's first game will be at 12:00 Noon. See updated brackets for new start times. Bus will now leave at 10:45 AM.
This week is School Board Recognition Week in Nebraska - We would like to extend a BIG Thank You to the school board members here at Lyons-Decatur Northeast. We appreciate their knowledge, professionalism, and support throughout the district. We are lucky to have each and every one of them volunteering their time and talents. Thanks again April Archer, Jaime Bacon, Chad Brehmer, Lisa Christiansen, Leah Miller, Evan Myers, Corey Petersen, Jolene Troutman, and James Vlach.
The JH Girls Basketball team are back in action tomorrow at the Wisner-Pilger tournament. First game at 10:00 AM. Bus will leave at 8:45 AM. Watch for updates with any weather concerns. It is possible they will push back starting times due to weather.
3's preschool enjoyed a fun "snow" day with their families today making snowman decorations, eating an ice cream "snow" snack and participating in various winter activities!

JH Wrestling schedule UPDATE!!! The JH Wrestling meet at Winnebago originally scheduled for Monday, January 30 will now be held on Monday, February 27th. Same start time of 4:00 PM.
