Big Shout Out to Colten for being invited to the Global Youth Institute of the World Food Prize. Colten will attend as one of about only 200 delegates from around the world in October and will interact with global leaders on Food Security Issues. Congratulations!

The LDNE Elementary Walking Club started strong this week. The guest of the week was Mr. Hosch. Class of the Week is 5th grade with 90% Participation. Walker of the Week is Charlie Weber who showed up with enthusiasm every day to participate.
3's Preschool has had a busy week with 19 new Cougars joining our school! We've been learning the routines of school, meeting new friends and teachers, sharing and playing together, learning about our classroom centers, playing outside and sharing meals together! We are excited for a fun year!

Athlete testing will take place this week! Girls will be Tuesday (8/15) 7:00 - 8:00 pm. Boys will be Thursday (8/17) 6:30 - 8:00 pm. This is optional but also highly encouraged for recording the growth of our athletes. We will test again in April 2024. Go Cougars!

Calling all High School Football, Volleyball, and Cross Country Athletes. We will be taking our individual fall athletic pictures with Kick Off Graphics for our game day posters on Monday, August 14th, starting at 2:00 p.m. in the gym. The shuttle will leave Decatur at 2:00 p.m. and return following practices.
If you are unable to make it on Monday between 2:00-3:30 p.m., we will work with you to get them done another date.
Congratulations to Elise for earning the American FFA Degree, the highest degree the National FFA Organization bestows upon members. The degree will be conferred at National FFA Convention in November.
