A fund has been set up for the Tiedgen Family at First Northeast Bank of Nebraska. Donations can be dropped off at the bank or school. Checks can be made out to the "Tiedgen Relief Fund" or "Tiedgen Fund".

It is with a very heavy heart that we can confirm that Mason Tiedgen, a 4th grader at Lyons-Decatur Northeast Schools, has died. The LDNE crisis response team and counselors will be available for students and staff tomorrow morning. Additional information regarding funeral arrangements will be shared once they are known.
It is important for parents to check in on their children during this difficult time. Grief is very complicated and can affect each child differently. If your child needs any assistance, please contact the school at 402-687-2363.
Due to illness and injury, Oakland-Craig has had to cancel the JV boys game today. We will now start the the games today at 3:00 with the Varsity boys game. The JV and Varsity Girls game vs Wakefield will start at 5:00 PM. Sorry for the late notice, please spread the word.

Ticketing information: They are using only digital ticketing for this event. There will be no cash accepted at the gate. Spectators may pre purchase their ticket prior to entering or use a credit card at the gate. Spectator tickets will only be redeemed on phones. No printed tickets will be accepted. See the attached flyer with their Go Fan information. Tickets may be purchased for Friday, Saturday, or a 2-day pass.

The Scholastic Book Fair is open to the public on Thursday, February 8th from 1-7 pm. It is located in the LDNE High School Library. Shop online, set up an eWallet for your student, view the fair fliers, and see all of the Book Fair details at https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/ldneschool.
Drivers Education Class signup is posted in the front office. Please have your student sign up or you can call the school at 402-687-2363. The class will tentatively be held at the end of May, with driving in May/June. It is recommended that students have a permit, but not required. Students must be 14 years of age by October 15, 2024 to sign up. Class size is limited. The cost of the class is $275.
