Garrett is a 6th grade student at Lyons-Decatur. With a constant smile on his face and a cheerful attitude, he is able to brighten the day of everyone around him. Garrett's great cougar character shines through in everything he does.
On December 2nd, LDNE will be hosting Tri County Northeast in a Jamboree Girls and Boys Basketball game starting at 6:00 PM with the Girls game. This is a fundraiser for the Nebraska High School Hall of Fame, so everyone that attends will have to pay admission. This includes LDNE students. NO PASSES will be accepted.

If you are picking up your child from school today (11/25), please plan to do so at Door #2 (the old main entrance). You can use the same route as normal, just proceed to the 2nd door. The construction company is installing handrails at the new main entrance so it will be closed this afternoon. Thank you.

Memphis Liles, Pyper Rush, and Jordan Miller are exceptional 2nd grade students who demonstrate great cougar character every day. These students consistently show respect to classmates and teachers, follow the rules, and give their best effort in everything they do.

Greyson Simonsen is a preschool student at LDNE with great cougar character. When his teacher asked him what he is proud of that he does every day he said "my listening ears". He chose well. Greyson is always listening to his teachers and friends. He is always kind and also participates in class activities and games. His friends also say that he does great with rhyming words.

LDNE performs their one-act play "Rue" at Lincoln SouthWEST this Saturday at 12:30 PM. Admission will apply to all the plays for the day. The first play begins at 8AM and the final play is at 4PM. The bus for our cast and crew leaves LDNE at 7AM. We will depart Lincoln SW at about 2PM for home. We may stop for early dinner/late lunch in Fremont. Any questions?
