Payzilynn Ruppert is a new kindergarten student at Lyons-Decatur who has quickly become a stand out for her cougar character with her enthusiasm and strong work ethic. Garrett is a 6th grade student at Lyons-Decatur. With a constant smile on his face and a cheerful attitude, he is able to brighten the day of everyone around him. Garrett's great cougar character shines through in everything he does.
On December 2nd, LDNE will be hosting Tri County Northeast in a Jamboree Girls and Boys Basketball game starting at 6:00 PM with the Girls game. This is a fundraiser for the Nebraska High School Hall of Fame, so everyone that attends will have to pay admission. This includes LDNE students. NO PASSES will be accepted.

Memphis Liles, Pyper Rush, and Jordan Miller are exceptional 2nd grade students who demonstrate great cougar character every day. These students consistently show respect to classmates and teachers, follow the rules, and give their best effort in everything they do.
