After recess with Mrs Kwikkel and the kindergarten class, we headed out to an Easter Egg hunt. (Another sign Bottle Rocket is Easter Bunny)

Next up... we planted jellybeans to see if we could grow a rainbow garden. 🌈💐🐰

Happy Easter from the Second year pre-k class! First up... we met Bottle Rocket. We are very certain he is the Easter Bunny, because he can hop very fast, loves children, and seems to know each of them. Thank you Skylar Watson for sharing Bottle Rocket with us 🐰💖

Last Friday, 9 High School Art students took part in "The Big Art Show" in Wakefield. 16 schools from Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota took part in the show (originally 22 before it was rescheduled due to weather). In addition to having their artwork displayed and judged, students had to work together to create a board game as part of the day's activities. Catalina Estrada Lujan received the Outstanding School Artist Award for LDNE, which was voted on by all the students that attended the show. This was the first time LDNE was able to attend this show and we look forward to going again in the future.

We have had two Hs track records broken this year! Congrats to Garret Vavra on the shot put record with a throw of 54'11 3/4" and Karsen Olsen for being the first girl in school history to pole vault with a vault of 6'6" #cougarnation

Calendar Reminders for the upcoming weeks!
