BRLD Fall Sports Protocols for Fans

Volleyball- (Varsity/Junior High)

  • Home games at B-R and L-D will have limited attendance in order to comply with the ELVHD capacity regulations.
    • Four passes will be given to players and coaches. Fans must have one of these passes in order to attend the game. The tickets will be numbered 1-4.  Fans will still need to pay admission if no activity passes have been purchased.   We ask that exact change be used if at all possible.
      • Note- Visiting teams may restrict how many fans we can bring. This is why the tickets are numbered.
  • The Starting times for our home Junior High Volleyball games have been changed to start at 4:15 PM to give our students a chance to get out of the building as much as possible before fans start entering our facilities.
  • Opposing teams will be limited to two passes for each player and coach. Designated passes labeled #1 and #2 will be accepted from opposing fans.  Only one pass will be allowed for scorebook personnel and bus driver.
  • At this time temperatures will be taken at the door prior to admittance.
  • School administrators will need to make themselves known to the gate person.
  • Student body will NOT be allowed to attend at this time unless the student possesses an admission ticket. Pep band and cheerleader participation will be suspended until further notice.
  • Masks are required of all fans that enter the facilities. Bench players, coaches, coaching staff, and table workers will be required to wear masks as well. Floor players and officials are not required to wear masks, but are encouraged.
  • Teams will be protected by allowing two rows of empty seating behind each team bench.
  • Opposing teams will be asked to arrive at BRLD facilities dressed and teams will be provided a classroom to use previous to and  between games.
  • There will be no concession stand available. No outside food or drink will be allowed in by attending fans. Removing masks to eat or drink is counterproductive to requiring them to be worn. After game meals or lunch lines for visiting teams will not be allowed.

Football (Varsity/Junior High)

  • Fan attendance will only be limited based on health department regulations. At this time, we will not be limiting the number of fans.
  • Masks are strongly encouraged when social distancing cannot be maintained.  (Please remember that if players' families get COVID, their kids will have to quarantine for two weeks.)
  • Fans will be required to wear a mask to enter the facility,  to use the restroom, and to go to the concession stand.
  • Parents are asked not to allow younger children to run freely and participate in activities other than watching the contest.
  • Pep Band and cheerleader participation is allowed. Students should be socially distanced while participating.
  • Concession stands will be available. A visitor concession stand may be available.
  • Opposing teams will be encouraged to come dressed. Decisions on availability of locker room areas will be made the week of the contest.

Girls Golf/Softball

  • BRLD does not directly host a contest in any of these activities. Please consult the schedule and determine what rules will apply to each specific sport venue.
