Good luck today to the BRLD Football team as they are facing up against Wilbur Clatonia in the 1st Round of the State Football Playoffs. This game will be played in Bancroft, kickoff at 6:00 pm.
The game will be broadcasted on the following radio stations: 106 KIX out of Norfolk and 99.5 KUTT out of Fairbury.
This is an NSAA post-season contest and everyone will need to pay admission to the game. There are no passes accepted.
We will have a sendoff today at 3:30 to support the football team. Go Wolverines!
A retainer case was found in the boys bathroom. Claim at the front office.
JH boys Basketball - There will not be practice today.
The East Husker Conference Honor Choir will be held in Pender on Monday, November 4th. There will be a public performance at 7 p.m. Families and community are encouraged to attend the concert. The EHC Select Choir will be performing one selection of music that will include All-State music participants Maggie White and Caleb Schlichting. After the concert, if students have a signed permission slip, they may ride home with family only. Choir members and Mrs. A. will be gone that day.
On Tuesday, Nov. 5th, the JH/HS Fall concert will be held. It will start at 7:00 p.m. and the public is invited to attend.
There will be a meeting for all 9 to 12th grade girls going out for basketball this season Wednesday, November 6th at 4:15 pm in Bancroft. Let Coach Sovde know if you need a ride to Bancroft.
On Wednesday, Nov. 6th, the 6th-8th grade students will be attending a Life Skills sportsmanship Pep Rally in Lincoln. Students that need a ride from Decatur in the morning are asked to sign up in the front office with Laurie. Shuttle will leave promptly at 6:30 AM. Transportation from Lyons to Lincoln will leave at 7:00 AM. We are on a time schedule so please do not be late! Neither shuttle nor bus will wait.
On Friday, Nov. 8th, the Mock Trial will perform at the Madison County Courthouse. Round #1 starts at 9:00am, Round #2 starts at 11:00am and Round #3 starts at 1:00pm.
The Veterans Day Program will be held on November 11, 2019 beginning at 9:00 a.m.
School will dismiss at 1:00 p.m. on November 13th for a teacher inservice.
