Lady Cougars Win Invite!

The Lady Cougars won their own Cougar Invite by edging the Oakland-Craig team by 1 point (131-130). The meet was not decided until the final event -- the 4 X 400m relay.
The Cougars trailed the Oakland team by 5 points going into the final two events of the day, the 4 X100m relay and the 4 X 400m relay. However the Cougars, by winning both events, were able to pull ahead in the final point count. The team of Ashley Bacon, Brianne Bacon, Kristen Cameron, and Morgan Daberkow not only won the final event of the day but set a new meet and Lyons-Decatur NE stadium record.
