UNO CHAMBER CHOIR
Maverick Pride comes to Northeast
The latest performing ensemble to grace to halls of LDNE is the University of Nebraska at Omaha Chamber Choir. The choir came all the way from Omaha to perform at an assembly for students. The assembly consisted of a diverse repertoire. They performed everything from compositions that were in French and Latin to more contemporary gospel and folk music. The concert finale was an accapella version of the "Peanuts" theme.
Thank you to Chamber Choir Director Dr. Matthew Harden, Graduate Assistant Jason St. Claire for scheduling the assembly. Also thank you the UNO Chamber Choir for their fantastic performance!

The UNO Chamber Choir just returned from a tour of Omaha’s newest sister city, Xalapa, Veracruz in Mexico. Highlights of the tour included a concert at the University of Veracruz, one of Mexico’s top universities, a meeting and a special performance for the Mayor of Xalapa and a concert in an open air chapel at the cathedral in Cuernavaca. The choir members stayed with host families in their homes during the part of the trip in Xalapa.
