These past two weeks Mrs. Brovont talked to her first graders about Labor Day. They discussed what skills are involved in each job and learned about responsibility for the different jobs/careers.
From a first graders point of view this is what they thought about the upcoming holiday.
Jonathan - don't know Arianne - day we celebrate workers
Jaden - hope Luke - playing
Theodore - break off of school Tori - break off of working
Aidan - day off for my dad Juliana - you worked really hard
Kaylee - don't know Keith - don't know
Samantha - you won't have to work Tyler - you get a day off
Elise - people who work hard get a break
To conclude their study of Labor Day the class had the pleasure of having the following parents come to discuss their careers....Mrs. Jackie Anderson, Mr. Jason O'Mara, Mrs. Melissa Brokaw, Mrs. Heidi O'Mara, and Mrs. Tina Ronnfeldt. The class wishes to thank all the parents for sharing what you do at your job.
