Today, Mr. Timm is having a National Honor Society meeting in his room during B lunch. Honor Society students attending can bring their lunches to the meeting.
Good luck to the Cougar varsity football team as they travel to their first game today. They play against East Butler, starting at 7:00 p.m. This game will be played at Dwight, NE which is on Highway 66, north and west of Lincoln.
Good luck to the Northeast Pom Squad as they will be performing at the Nebraska State Fair Dance and Cheer Exposition in Grand Island on Saturday August 28th. They will start performing at 12 noon on the Bristol Windows Stage in the Marketplace and will proceed on a route and performing 5 more times.
Also going to the State Fair on Saturday is the marching band and those going will meet at 7:45 a.m. and leave at 8:00 a.m.
The FBLA Picnic will be held in the old gym on Monday, August 30 @ 7 pm. Please bring your $15 for dues.
Reminder to students that all money goes to the front office. This includes lunch money and activity ticket money.
ATTENTION: there are extra yearbooks for sale – cost is $40.00
The Fremont Area Medical Center will be providing a Sports Trainer again this year. He plans to be here on Thursday mornings. Students who need to see the trainer will need to sign up in the Principal’s office. If you are signed up, meet with him in the gym when you are called from class.
There will not be a Jr. Hi. Shuttle today. The Decatur Shuttle for HS VB will leave at 4:40 p.m. Anyone needing to ride the athletic shuttle after school will need to sign up at the front office each day.
Interested in participating in Mock Trial? Sign-up in the Guidance Office or talk to Mr. Wantz.
School Spirit: Mrs. Mace is selling tattoos again to promote cougar spirit; price is 2 for .25 cents. Stop in before or after school to purchase tattoos before volleyball or football games!
The Northeast Drumline will be meeting Wednesdays at 7:30 am in the music room starting on the 25th. Membership is open to any Northeast student. The only requirement is that you are dedicated and willing to put in the time. See Mr. Mayo for questions.
Remember that Cougars for Christ will be meeting on Monday at 7:30 in the music room. Free donuts will be served. Cougars for Christ is a new organization for students who want to involve their faith more while at school. For questions see Mr. Mayo.
