Try-out practice for the 2010-2011 Pom Squad started today. Try-outs are on Monday, March 22nd @ 4:00 p.m.
Drama: Congrats to the new cast for LDNE's spring play-results are posted on Activity board. Practice to begin Tuesday-Friday at 5:45pm. You need to bring your 10$ ASAP in order to pick up a script.
Cheer: Please bring your parental signature forms to school by this Friday to Mrs. Mace. Tryout practices begin Tuesday March 23rd.
Do you have an amazingly hilarious joke? Can you play the guitar, piano, or cowbell? Do you know how to blow 52 bubbles with one piece of gum? The upcoming talent show is for you! Whatever your talent may be, you can show it to the world….of Lyons & Decatur… and maybe even become a legend! It is only $5.00 per entry! Sign up at the office, Hurry, entries are due March 19th – come show us your talent!!
Reminder to remove any papers, posters, stickers, etc. from the outsides of your lockers. Be careful and get all the tape off when you remove. Any problems, let the office know.
Thank you to all who have contributed to Pennies for Patients. The overall class winner for “B“ lunch was the Seniors. The “A” lunch winner was the 8th Graders. The winner of the ice cream party is the 5th grade.
Yearbooks on sale through March 19th. Cost is $40.00.
Quiz Bowl Team: There is a sign up in Mr. Timm's room for Morningside College's Quizbowl on Saturday, March 20th. For more details ask Mr. Timm.
The Lyons-Decatur Northeast School Board approved that we will have school on the Monday after Easter.
Sports Physical date has been set for May 5th, starting at 12:30 for grades 6th to 11th. Cost will be $30 and will need either cash or check. No billing will be done for this. The Lyons Mercy Medical Clinic are the sponsors of this clinic.
