On Thursday, April 30, Mr. Wantz loaded
up the van on a rainy day and took six students to
Wayne for the 34th Annual Math
Competition. The day consisted of math jeopardy and the students
taking tests for their respective classes. Sean Minton and Jacob
Pond both placed first place for small schools in Pre-Calculus and
Algebra II, respectively. Megan Long place 8th in Geometry for
small schools. The team faced some bad luck in the first round of
jeopardy because they failed to put their correct answer in the
form of a question resulting in their disqualification.
