Congratulations to the C & JV Volleyball teams as they won their games against West Point-Beemer last night.

 

Today there is a Pep rally at 3:00 p.m.  Please dismiss the Pom & Cheer at 2:45 to prepare.  Classes participating in the sign competition, need to bring their signs to the pep rally!
Tonight's game is a "black out"! Wear black hats, pants, shirts, shoes, makeup to show your school spirit! Don’t forget to get your Cougar tattoos from Mrs. Mace. 2 for .25 cents!!! Stop in before or after school to purchase tattoos before volleyball or football games!

 

Good luck to the Cougar Varsity Football team in their game tonight against Winnebago.  This is Parent’s Night and the game starts at 7 p.m. Show your school spirit by wearing black!

 

Good luck to the JV & C team on Saturday, as they travel to Emerson for a tournament to start at 9:00 a.m.

 

There will not be any school on Monday, Sept. 6 for Labor Day.

 

Post Prom is having a Fundraiser.  Sophomores & Freshmen – reminder to get out and sell your Little Ceasars Pizza fundraising this weekend.

 

The National Honor Society members are selling creamed honey as a fundraiser until September 10th.  We have 3 flavors (Raspberry, Cinnamon, and Natural) for sale in 8 oz jars that sell for $5/jar or $14 for multiples of three.  See Mr. Timm if any questions or to order.

 

Sports Button pictures will be taken by the Pom squad again this year.  This is for HS & JH VB & FB, cheerleaders and band members.  Come to the gym before school starts to have your picture taken, along with your money, cost is $3.00 per button.

 

A Jr. High Dance will take place on Friday, September 10th from 7-10 pm in the small gym.  Admission is $3.  Jr. High students from 6 other schools have been invited to attend as well.  Refreshments will be served for $1. 

 

The Fremont Area Medical Center will be providing a Sports Trainer again this year.  He plans to be here on Thursday mornings.  Students who need to see the trainer will need to sign up in the Principal’s office.  If you are signed up, meet with him in the gym when you are called from class.

 

7-12 students needing to ride the athletic shuttle after school will need to sign up at the front office each day.

 

Tryouts for Mock Trial begin Sept. 8th.  Sign-up for an audition time with Mr. Wantz.
