School pictures will be taken today, starting at 8:45 a.m.

 

Wednesday PLUS begins today.  It will be held in Mr. Timm’s room.

 

Volleyball scrimmage will be on Thursday, August 26th.

 

The bus evacuation drills will be held on Thursday in the morning, beginning with the seniors and working down.

 

The first varsity football game is on Friday, August 27th vs East Butler, starting at 7:00 p.m.  This game will be played at Dwight, NE which is on Highway 66, north and west of Lincoln.

 

Reminder to students that all money goes to the front office.  This includes lunch money and activity ticket money.

 

ATTENTION:  there are extra yearbooks for sale – cost is $40.00

 

The Fremont Area Medical Center will be providing a Sports Trainer again this year.  Students who need to see the trainer will need to sign up in the Principal’s office.  If you are signed up, meet with her in the gym when you are called from class.

 

HS Volleyball and football practices will be right after school.  The Decatur Shuttle will leave at 6:30 p.m.  Anyone needing to ride the athletic shuttle after school will need to sign up at the front office each day.

 

 

Interested in participating in Mock Trial? Sign-up in the Guidance Office or talk to Mr. Wantz.

 

School Spirit: Mrs. Mace is selling tattoos again to promote cougar spirit; price is 2 for .25 cents. Stop in before or after school to purchase tattoos before volleyball or football games!

 

Cougars for Christ is a new Northeast organization for students wish to keep the faith while at school.  Meetings will be Monday's at 7:30 am in the music room starting Monday the 23rd.  If you have any questions, please talk to Mr. Mayo.  Donuts will be served.

The Northeast Drumline will be meeting Wednesdays at 7:30 am in the music room starting on the 25th.  Membership is open to any Northeast student.  The only requirement is that you are dedicated and willing to put in the time.  See Mr. Mayo for questions.
