Congratulations to the following Northeast athletes who have been named as East Conference All-Conference selections. Girls: Ashley Bacon-1st team; Brianne Bacon-1st team; Emily Ueding-2nd team; Brianne Bacon-All Defense team-only unanimous selection. Boys: Anton Hassebrook-2nd Team; Ryan Brehmer-Honorable Mention; Anton Hassebrook and Destiny Hernandez- All Defense team. Please meet in front lobby at 1:00 for pictures.
Don’t forget, deadline to purchase a Yearbook is Friday. See Mrs. Sharp. Cost is $40.00.
Drama: The cast for LDNE's spring play are posted on Activity board. Practice today through Friday at 5:45pm, please be on time.
Cheer: There will be a quick meeting at 3:30 Thursday for girls trying out for cheer this year.Cheer: Please bring your parental signature forms to school by Friday to Mrs. Mace. Tryout practices begin Tuesday March 23rd.
Quiz Bowl Team: There is a sign up in Mr. Timm's room for Morningside College's Quizbowl on Saturday, March 20th. For more details ask Mr. Timm.
Try-outs for the 2010-2011 Pom Squad are on Monday, March 22nd @ 4:00 p.m.
107.9 The Bull is offering a Sports Booster Scholarship to one Male and Female athlete from Lyons-Decatur. Applications for these scholarships may be picked up from Mr. Knaak, and are to be filled out and returned to Mr. Knaak, no later than March 26th!!
At Lyons-Decatur Northeast, we are striving to stop wasting paper caused by printing unnecessarily!! Many pages are being printed and not picked up. During the last quarter of this year, a $0.02 fine for each page printed and not picked up will be levied. The FBLA will be monitoring and collecting fines! (Funds collected will be donated to the FBLA).

Whatever your talent may be, you can show it to the world….of Lyons & Decatur… and maybe even become a legend! It is only $5.00 per entry! Sign up at the office, Hurry, entries are due March 19th – come show us your talent!!
Post Prom permission forms can be picked up at the front office. Return forms and money by March 19th. If bringing an out of town date, take 2 permission forms.
The Lyons-Decatur Northeast School Board approved that we will have school on the Monday after Easter.
Sports Physical date has been set for May 5th, starting at 12:30 for grades 6th to 11th. Cost will be $30 and will need either cash or check. No billing will be done for this. The Lyons Mercy Medical Clinic are the sponsors of this clinic.
