Congratulations to Eric Anderson and Eric Miller who have been named State Star Finalists in the FFA. Good Luck at state in April.
107.9 The Bull is offering a Sports Booster Scholarship to one Male and Female athlete from Lyons-Decatur. Applications for these scholarships may be picked up from Mr. Knaak, and are to be filled out and returned to Mr. Knaak, no later than March 26th!!
Try-outs for the 2010-2011 Pom Squad are on Monday, March 22nd @ 4:00 p.m.
Drama: The cast for LDNE's spring play are posted on Activity board. Practice today through Friday at 5:45pm, please be on time. Bring your 10$ ASAP in order to pick up a script.
Cheer: Please bring your parental signature forms to school by Friday to Mrs. Mace. Tryout practices begin Tuesday March 23rd.
At Lyons-Decatur Northeast, we are striving to protect the environment by not wasting paper by printing unnecessarily!! Many, many, pages are being printed and not picked up. During the last quarter of this year, a $0.02 fine for each page printed and not picked up will be levied. The FBLA will be monitoring and collecting the fines! (Funds collected will be donated to the FBLA) This statement has been edited by W.P.

Thank you to all who have contributed to Pennies for Patients. The overall class winner for “B“ lunch was the Seniors. The “A” lunch winner was the 8th Graders. The winner of the ice cream party is the 5th grade. Thank you to Lyons Savemore for donating the ice cream party!!

Quiz Bowl Team: There is a sign up in Mr. Timm's room for Morningside College's Quizbowl on Saturday, March 20th. For more details ask Mr. Timm.
The Lyons-Decatur Northeast School Board approved that we will have school on the Monday after Easter.
Sports Physical date has been set for May 5th, starting at 12:30 for grades 6th to 11th. Cost will be $30 and will need either cash or check. No billing will be done for this. The Lyons Mercy Medical Clinic are the sponsors of this clinic.
Post Prom permission forms can be picked up at the front office. Return forms and money by March 19th. If bringing an out of town date, take 2 permission forms.
