Thank you to all who attended the Chili feed & JH/HS Concert last night.
Cheer Meeting: Today at 3:30 in Mrs. Mace's room for all 8th-11th grade girls interested in trying out for the 10-11 season. Cheer practice & tryouts are scheduled for March 23rd-29th.
Today, Spring School pictures will be taken in the big gym on the stage.
Student Council meeting today during “B” lunch.
The end of the 3rd quarter is Thursday, March 11th. School will dismiss at 2:00 p.m. and no school on Friday for spring break.
Drama: Please stop in to complete an audition form from Mrs. Mace before Thursday. Auditions will be after school thru Thursday.
Do you have an amazingly hilarious joke? Can you play the guitar, piano, or cowbell? Do you know how to blow 52 bubbles with one piece of gum? The upcoming talent show is for you! Whatever your talent may be, you can show it to the world….of Lyons & Decatur… and maybe even become a legend! It is only $5.00 per entry! Sign up at the office, Hurry, entries are due March 19th – come show us your talent!!
Try-out practice for the 2010-2011 Pom Squad will start Monday, March 15th at 7:00 AM. Reminder to get your signature page turned in at the Principal’s office by tomorrow.
With this being the end of the winter sports season, all students are asked to remove any papers, posters, stickers, etc. from the outsides of your lockers. Be careful and get all the tape off when you remove. Any problems, let the office know.
The spring play will be "The Music Man". The drama students are teamed up with Pampered Chef for a fundraiser. Contact the office at school to see a catalog or get instructions for on-line ordering. Thank you for your support of our Drama Dept.
Thank you to all who have contributed to Pennies for Patients. The overall class winner for “B“ lunch was the Seniors. The “A” lunch winner was the 8th Graders. The winner of the ice cream party is the 5th grade.
Lost & Found: There is a pair of glasses in the front office. Alysha P. has misplaced her class ring somewhere in the building, has anyone seen it?
Yearbooks on sale through March 19th. Cost is $40.00.
Quiz Bowl Team: There is a sign up in Mr. Timm's room for Morningside College's Quizbowl on Saturday, March 20th. For more details ask Mr. Timm.
