Congratulations to the Girl’s Basketball team as they took the EHC runner-up on Saturday.
Congratulations to the following Speech team members in their placing at Bancroft on Saturday: Eric Miller-2nd in Informative Speech and Extempt; Tia Messier & KayCe Hollman-2nd in Duet; and Audel Salazar-5th in Entertainment. There will not be any speech team practice today, practice on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Upcoming speech meet dates: Feb. 20 @ West Point-Beemer, and Feb. 27 is EHC @ Lyons. Districts are March 8 @ Bancroft-R.
There will be a meeting today for all Football Players at 11:30 in Mr. Anderson’s room.
The JV basketball games against Bancroft-Rosalie today has been cancelled.
This is National FBLA Week & our theme for the week is GO GREEN. Students can check out the bulletin boards for this weeks activities.
On Tuesday, The JH girls basketball teams host Oakland-Craig in games to start at 4:00 p.m. Note time change.
On Tuesday, the JV & V G&B BB will travel to Wisner-Pilger, games starting @ 5:00 p.m.
Good luck to those submitting entries to the FFA District Proficiency Review.

On Thursday, school will dismiss at 2:00 p.m.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held, starting at 3:00 p.m.
There will not be any school on Friday, Feb. 12th for teacher in-service.
On Friday, the JV&V G&B basketball teams travel to Logan View,
games starting @ 4:00 p.m.
SWEETHEART DANCE on Saturday, Feb. 13 for 9th through 12th grades and their guests in the old gym from 9 PM to Midnight. Tickets are $5 at the door. This is sponsored by the LDNE Music Dept. Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase. Breathalyzer test must be passed before admission.
On Saturday, Feb. 13, LDNE will host a girls & boys 9th grade basketball tournament, starting at 9:00 a.m.
