Congratulations to the Girl’s Basketball team on their win over Wisner-Pilger last night in the EHC tournament.  Good luck to them as they play in the championship game on Saturday at North Bend Central.  Game is against NBC and starts at 6:00 p.m.

The EHC Basketball Tournament Finals & Art Show are at North Bend Central. 

Good luck to the Varsity Boy’s Basketball team as they continue in the EHC Trn. this evening at Scribner-Snyder.  Game is against Pender and starts at 6:00 p.m.

 

Today is the Midterm of the 3rd Quarter.

 

Today is the last day to get your order in for the Valentine treat bags.  Order forms are available in the front office.  These are being sold by Post Prom.  A drink and treat for $2 along with a valentine message.

 

On Saturday, the Speech team travel to Bancroft-Rosalie. Upcoming speech meet dates:  Feb. 6 @ Bancroft-Rosalie 9 AM, Feb. 20 @ West Point-Beemer, and Feb. 27 is EHC @ Lyons.  Districts are March 8 @ Bancroft-R.

 

Good luck to the JH Girls BB teams on Saturday as they play @ Stanton, 10 am games.

 

Today, Tia M., Nikki W., Ginger M., Megan M., and Leslie A. are at Wayne State for Music.  There are some Music students going to Sioux City for Rochestra on Saturday.

 

 

NEXT WEEK:

Monday:        

  1. the Junior Varsity Girls and Boys BB game at home vs Bancroft-Rosalie @ 6pm.

Tuesday:

  1. JH girls basketball game @ home vs Oakland-Craig @ 4pm. (time change)
  2. JV & V G&B BB @ Wisner-Pilger, games starting @ 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday:

  1. FFA District Proficiency Review @ 5:00 p.m.

Thursday:

  1. Parent-Teachers Conferences will be held, start at 3:00 p.m. 
  2. School will dismiss at 2:00. 

Friday:

  1. There will be no school on Feb. 12 for a Teacher In-Service.
  2. JV & V G&B BB @ Logan View, games starting @ 4:00 p.m.
 

 

 

SWEETHEART DANCE on Saturday, Feb. 13 for 9th through 12th grades and their guests in the old gym from 9 PM to Midnight.  Tickets are $5 at the door.  This is sponsored by the LDNE Music Dept.  Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase.  Breathalyzer test must be passed before admission.

 

On Saturday, Feb. 13, LDNE will host a girls & boys 9th grade basketball tournament, starting at 9:00 a.m.

 

The following students owe for dues:  Zach Z. $5, Faith H. $20, Hope H. $20, Debbie M. $10, Mike Hittle $20, Lydia H. $10, and Jake J. $10.  Reminder that dues must be paid before attending the upcoming dance.
