Many of us are eating cookies as a result of the excellent elementary salesmanship. The students participated in a fundraiser to earn money to build a new basketball court on the playground. It was definitely a success as $7378.00 was earned. Prizes were given to students for their sales but the big prize came on Tuesday afternoon as Sage Penny "rolled in the dough" as the student with the most sales.
He was wrapped in duct tape by the company rep and began his journey over carpet filled with money. He had 60 seconds to roll and all the money which stuck to the tape he could keep. He rolled into $29.00, so not bad for 60 seconds of work. Another name was drawn from the bucket of all the students that sold cookies and Larson Springer was the winner and had the chance to roll. He rolled in $35.00. Thank you to all the students and supporters of this great project.
