Bobbie and Emma researched the bread and cereal group, also called grains.
Arizona liked the crunchy vegetables.
Kaliyah found facts about fruits.
Ella and Brayden researched milk and cheese.
Skylar and Kisha learned about foods in the meats and beans group.
Devin learned about the oils group.

Second Graders Learn How to Eat!

Healthy That Is!

Second graders spent the last few weeks learning about the food groups and food pyramid in both their classroom and during library and computer times. During library times, student groups were assigned a food group to research. They used the library catalog to find a book on their food, and then they read the book and recorded facts. They typed their reports and created a collage illustration depicting different foods in their groups.
