In the first days of school the Lyons-Decatur Northeast High School Music students started the year by electing their peers into leadership positions. Both the choir and band elected its own President, Secretary, Representative at Large, Historian, Uniform Representative, and Student Council Representative. The leadership team from each ensemble meets with Mr. Mayo (Director of Music) on a regular basis to talk about the direction of each ensemble and to dream about where they want the music department to be by the end of the year. Congratulations to the the 2009-2010 Band and Choir Leadership Team!
