Congratulations to the Mock Trial “A” team as they won both matches yesterday.

 

Congratulations to the members of the HS choir for an outstanding performance at the East Husker Conference Vocal Clinic yesterday. 

 

Congratulations to 3 Lady Cougars for making the East Husker All Conference Volleyball Team.  Brianne Bacon was selected as First Team, Ashley Bacon as Second Team, and Emily Ueding was Honorable Mention.

 

Today, there is a student council meeting during B lunch.

 

One-Act: Play practice will be from 4-6 PM today and Thursday.  Morning practice to view practice video in Mrs. Mace's room.  All techies need to attend practice.  Please make arrangements to be there!!  Shuttles available to those signed up in advance.

 

Reminder that there is a post prom meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Library today.

 

The Folleyball entry forms are due by Friday.  You can drop them off at the Principal’s office.

 

Reminder to Jr. Hi. boys basketball players that need to ride the shuttle to Decatur must sign up before 1:00 p.m. daily.  Also, any other organized activity has a shuttle for those signed up in advance.

 

The following girls will be participating in the Froshmore Festival Honor Choir on Nov. 14 & 15:  Brittney Petersen, Loran Wheaton, Abby Ueding, and Nikki Jo Williams.

 

Reminder to parents that with cold and flu season here, if your child has a fever or has symptoms of flu, they should not return to school for 24 hours after the symptoms have subsided.

 

Upcoming Events & Updates:

        2nd Quarter Midterm date is Friday, Nov. 14.

        The JH Boys Basketball game on Nov. 25th against Scribner-Snyder is at Snyder.

        The cheerleaders are selling school spirit tattoos - 2 for $.25 cents!  See cheerleaders to purchase-lots of variety!!

Go Green - on Friday, the second grade and Leadership classes are planning to distribute recycling boxes for office paper in the school building.  They will empty them periodically and take to the recycling center.  There is also a trash can outside of the concession stand for plastic bottles only.  Please take advantage of this recycling effort.  Thanks you.
