Friday, Sept. 5th
Congratulations to the Lady Cougars on their good games against West Point and to the Freshmen ladies on their win against West Point
Students
interested in the Quiz Bowl, please see Mrs. Ippensen.
There will be a freshman/sophomore class meeting today at 1:40 in Mr. Poulosky’s classroom.
Good luck to the varsity football team as they travel to Mead for a 7:00 p.m. game.
The JV football team will play their first game on Monday, Sept. 8 at Cedar Bluffs, starting at 5:00 p.m.
Sport button pictures will be taken in the big gym at 7:45 to 8:00
a.m. until Friday.
The Siouxland Community Blood Bank will be in Lyons on Friday, September 5th from 10:00AM – 3:00PM at the City Auditorium. Be a Hero – Give Blood! Sign up at the Principal’s office.
The
cheerleaders are selling school spirit tattoos - 2 for $.25
cents!. Wear them on your cheeks for football, volleyball or
just for fun! See Mrs. Mace to purchase-lots of
variety!!
Upcoming Events & Updates:
□ The FFA will have a meeting on Sept. 15 @ 7:00 p.m.
□ Parents Night for the HS football team will be at the Sept. 12th game against Omaha Christian.
□ On September 17th, school will start at 10:00 because of a teacher inservice.
□ The first Quarter midterm date is Sept. 19th.
□ Homecoming week is Sept. 22 to 26. Coronation will be Sept. 22.
□ The Fremont Area Medical Center will be providing a Sports Trainer again this year. Students who need to see the trainer will need to sign up in the Principal’s office.
