Commencement Exercises
Honoring the Class of 2008

Despite the inclement weather 28 members of the Class of 2008 graduated on Saturday May 10th at 2:00. Courtney Beacom, class president, welcomed family and friends to this year's commencement exercises. She paid tribute to Karlyn Miller's grandmother as she graduated from this school 100 years ago and also to Lucas Johnson a classmate of the class of 2008 that they lost in 8th grade.
Corey Friedli was the Valedictorian and Megan Malloy was Salutatorian; Courtney Beacom was also honored as these three were the top 10% of the class. The top 25 % wore honor cords, they were: Courtney Beacom, Brittney Doht, Corey Friedli, Megan Malloy, Karlyn Miller, Jimmy Simpson, and Steele Valenzuela.The class sang as a group "For Good" by Stephen Schwartz School board members Trevor Preston and Joey Brehmer assisted Mr. Hansen with the presentation of diplomas. Congratulations to this year's graduates and best of luck. We will miss you at LDNE.
