Thank you to the Secondary music students for the great Spring Concert on Friday.
Congratulations to those who placed in the EHC 7-8-9thgrade track meet on Saturday at Stanton. Placing 1stor 2ndin events was Mandy D. – 1stin 100m, 2ndin 200 & 400m runs, and the girls 4X4 team of Mandy D., Sydnee B., Brittney P., and Bailey W.) placed 2nd.
Good luck to the FFA members who are at the National Land Judging in Oklahoma.
Today at 3:00 p.m., the Pom Pon will take delivery of their fundraiser items.
This evening at 7:00 p.m., will be the FBLA Awards program.
Today, the Jr. Hi. track meet at Homer will start at 4:00 p.m. Good luck to the team members who will be dismissed at 2:35, bus leaves at 2:45 p.m.
Tomorrow, the Lyons Mercy Medical Clinic will hold the Sport Physical Clinic. Students must pick up the physical forms at the Principal’s office as there is a section to fill out before the physicals. This will start at 12:30 p.m. and cost is $25 which must be paid that day; no insurance papers will be filed. This is for 6ththrough 11thgrades.
On Tuesday, May 6th, the Academic Awards program starts at 7:00 p.m.
Cheerleader try-outs will be on Wednesday, May 7th at 4:15 p.m. in the old gym.
Senior Breakfast is on Friday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lyons, starting at 7:00 a.m. Graduation practice will follow the breakfast. Graduation is on Saturday, May 10that 2:00 p.m.
Reminder to students:
□ All 2nd-11th grade students who are planning on attending the B.E.S.T. shooting camp this summer, you need to have your forms and money turned into Mr. Poulosky by this Friday!
□ The girl basketball players playing in League & O-C team camp, get money to Mr. Knaak by Friday.
□ Speech Team Members: see Mrs. Mace to help - speech cabinet clean out & inventory.
□ The last day for the high school and elementary libraries to be open will be Friday, May 9. All books need to be returned at that time and fines paid. Should any student needing a book repaired; see Mrs. Lofdahl before May 9th.
□ Reminder to 9 through 12th grade students that all class dues, library fines and fees must be paid before the last day of school. The following still owe class dues: Sophomores: Ariana H., and Loren P. Freshmen: Spencer, Cody, and Ruth. Also owing are 8th Graders: Bailey W., Mike M., Derek S., Chelsea A., Tanner C., John A. 7th Graders: Keirstin, Tanner, Brandi J.
Calendar Updates:
□ District Track meet @ Wisner-P. @ 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8.
□ Golf team goes to Tekamah for Invite, starting at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 8.
□ The Elementary Track meet is on Tues. May 13 at 12:00 pm.
□ The Elementary Awards Assembly will be on May 15th, starting at 10:00 a.m. in the big gym. The May calendar time is incorrect.
□ Drivers Ed Class will be June 2, 3, and 4 from 8:00-12:00; and June 9-10 from 8:00-12:00. Students will drive in the afternoon on those days.
□ June 7th@ 11:00 a.m., FAMC will have free sports physicals.
