We would like to welcome 4 new students to NE: Brooke McManigal—Grade 6, Paige McManigal—Grade 4, and Catie and Faith McManigal—Grade 2.

Tuesday, April 29, please dismiss 7-8 Track members at 11:35 for lunch. Bus leaves at 12:00 (noon).
NOTICE: After Friday, April 25th, Mr. Wantz will begin preparing schedules for those who did not turn one in. All 7-11 students have received their prospective classes for choosing.
The Quiz Bowl team will travel to Northeast Community College on Monday, April 28th.
The Athletic Awards Banquet and Program will be held on Monday, April 28th, banquet starting at 6:30 p.m., program at 7:00 p.m. This is a pot-luck meal.
The Elementary Spring Concert is April 29th, starting at 7:00 p.m.
There will be a "Fine Arts Breakfast" on Wed., April 30th, beginning at 7:15 a.m. Please come to receive your letter awards and to enjoy an awesome feast for an awesome year! This will be in Mrs. Brokaw’s room.
The Nebraska Wesleyan Jazz Ensemble will be performing for an all-school assembly on April 30, beginning at 10:00am and will last about 45-50 minutes.
Reminder to 9 through 12th grade students that all class dues, library fines and fees must be paid before the last day of school. The following still owe class dues: Sophomores: Ariana H., and Loren P. Freshmen: Spencer, Cody, and Ruth. Also owing are 8thGraders: Bailey W., Mike M., Derek S., Chelsea A., Tanner C., Mike H., John A. 7thGraders: Keirstin, Tanner, Brandi J.
The last day for the high school and elementary libraries to be open to students will be Friday, May 9. All books need to be returned at that time and fines paid. Should any student need a book repaired, see Mrs. Lofdahl before May 9th.
Calendar Updates:
□ The Siouxland Community Blood Bank will be in Lyons onFriday, May 2ndfrom 10:00AM-3:00PM at the City Auditorium. Be a Hero – Give Blood! Sign up at the Principal’s office.
□ Tuesday, May 6th, the Lyons Mercy Medical Clinic is offering Sport Physicals, starting at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $25 and must be paid that day; no insurance papers will be filed. This is for 6ththrough 11thgrades. Pick up forms at the Principal’s office.
□ The Elementary Track meet is on Tues. May 13 at 12:00 pm.
□ The Elementary Awards Assembly will be on May 15th, starting at 10:00 a.m. in the big gym. The May calendar time is incorrect.
□ Drivers Ed Class will be June 2, 3, and 4 from 8:00-12:00; and June 9-10 from 8:00-12:00. Students will drive in the afternoon on those days.
□ June 7th@ 11:00 a.m., FAMC will have free sports physicals.
