Northeast has State Champions in Speech. Congratulations to Jimmy Simpson and Steele Valenzuela for taking gold in their duet acting and also Jimmy Simpson a silver in Serious Prox in the State Speech competition held in Kearney yesterday.
Today, school is dismissed at 2:00 p.m. to start Easter Break with no school on Friday, March 21st and Monday, March 24th.
Today, the Varsity Rep. will meet with the 2008-09 Pom Squad members in the new gym at 2:00 p.m.. Reminder to bring your $100 deposit.
Today we received a message for our student body from Jacob Niewohner. Jacob has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Leukemia and started chemo therapy yesterday at UNMC. Jacob’s chemo will be given on an 8 day rotation and will last for several months. He has been having some good days and would like to thank everyone for their support, prayers, and care. Jacob is hoping to be home to enjoy Easter with his family. He is so encouraged by the thoughtfulness of others and he is encouraging others back by saying to keep up the good work at school. 7-12thgraders need to remove all things stuck to the outside of your lockers. They will be cleared this weekend of anything left on them.
School Spring pictures are due back by March 27th.
SENIORS: if you want to be in the senior video for Prom, please bring 2 to 3 pictures to Mrs. V. Brehmer or Mrs. Hegge by Thursday, March 20.
Class treasurers – please submit list of unpaid dues to the Principal’s office.
Everyone attending Post Prom should turn in their t-shirt/ticket money and permission slips to the Principal’s office. T-shirt orders are due by March 27thand tickets purchased by April 7.
