Kindergarteners take a trip to...
Poppy's Pumpkin Patch

On Friday, October 5th, the Kindergarten class traveled to
Norfolk to visit Poppy's Pumpkin Patch. While there, they enjoyed a
train ride, a walk through a haunted forest, racing cars on a race
track, and a boat ride. They saw many animals such as goats, a pig,
ducks, chickens, cats and kittens, llamas, and an alpaca. They
loved the long slippery slide and the tire swing. They enjoyed
playing in the tree house and on the playground. They climbed to
the top of the lookout tower and could see a long way in every
direction. They each got to pick out a pumpkin to take home with
them. Thirteen kindergartners climbed onto the bus and headed back
to school. When one student was asked what his favorite thing was
at the pumpkin patch he said, "Everything!" It was a great way to
spend a warm and windy fall day. The Kindergarten class thanks PIE
for paying their way into Poppy's. See how much fun they had by
