On Wednesday the 26th, Mrs. Sharp had a visitor. This visitor happened to be her husband with a yearly tradition. It was Sumac that he had cut. Everyone was asking her "What's that flower for?" Well, let's find out. You see, Pat Sharp and Michael Sharp got married on September 26th of 1975. Mrs. Sharp's mother thought that it would be great to have the church and reception decorated with Sumac. So her mother told Michael to go find some two days before the wedding day. Really, the only place to find Sumac was to go get it from a ditch or somewhere like that. So as he got the Sumac he put them in his trunk until the wedding day. Well the wedding day came and the flowers were dead. They couldn't use them at the wedding. It's been 32 years since that day and Michael has brought Mrs. Sharp Sumac on their anniversary every year to "compensate" for the decorations. Congratulations on your 32 year anniversary Mrs. Sharp! Are you up for 32 more?
