Cougars Fall to 0-4

Last Friday, the Cougars played Howells and came up short by a score of 48-6. The Cougars were plagued with many injuries causing new players to step in to positions that they had not previously played at the varsity level. The team totaled 120 yards on offense with 88 rushing and 32 passing yards. Most of Howell's points came in the 1st quarter with two scores in the 3rd and one score in the 4th quarter. Leading tacklers were Brantley Vavra with 20 points, Sean Minton with 10, and Steele Valenzuela with 9 tackle points. The Cougars will being playing at home against their arch rival Oakland-Craig with the game starting at 7.
