Northeast is proud to offer its students and staff access to two
database services to assist in the research process. Both databases
are available to Northeast students and staff from school or home
computers (having Internet access). Potential users of the
databases must stop by or call the high school library-media center
to obtain the passwords needed to enter the databases.
InfoTrac®
Student Database

This database is a subscription-based service that offers access to
published information, including magazines, almanacs, newspapers,
and Compton’s Encyclopedia. When you search, you can limit
results to full-text articles. You may find that it is easy
to start a research project here because the information you find
is based on print resources and may be more reliable than some
resources found on the World Wide Web.

Use WorldCat for Interlibrary Loan Materials.
Access to this service is made available to Nebraska libraries by
the Nebraska Library Commissionthrough funding by the State.
Northeast has access to Wilson magazines (online full-text
articles), Wilson biographies (online biographical articles and
pictures), and WorldCat/First Search (access to books and other
items in print or multimedia that can be interlibrary loaned
through the Nebraska Library Commission).
NebraskAccess can also be accessed by any Nebraska resident with a valid driver’s license number, so its use is not limited only to students. Tell your parents about NebraskAccess!
