1st Grade Travels to Small's Fruit Farm

The 1st grade took a field trip to Small's Fruit Farm at Mondamin, Iowa. Mrs. Small explained how long they have been in business. They watched how apples were sorted, visited the cider shed, and learned how to make cider. The ride on the hayrack took them through different parts of the apple orchard where they saw many varieties.
